On February 14th, 2025, NYSEIA filed its Cost Certainty Petition with the New York Public Service Commission. The petition seeks to modify New York's SIR to provide greater transparency and cost certainty for new distributed generators and/or energy storage systems 5 megawatts or less connected in parallel with utility distribution systems.
