BlueWave has an immediate opening for a GIS Systems Architect on the Corporate Operations team to work out of our Back Bay, Boston office daily. This team member will support a wide range of energy project needs including map production, spatial and tabular analysis, and other support for site acquisition, interconnection, development and construction of our rapidly expanding portfolio of solar and standalone storage projects. Your daily activities will include but not be limited to designing digital maps, developing project databases, designing field and web apps for user interfacing, and developing workflows for the collection and use of geospatial information across a project lifespan. You will be expected to run geoprocessing and analysis tasks with increasing complexity, ultimately leading up to automated modelling. After processing the data, you will use it to tell compelling stories about your results such as through visually appealing and comprehensible maps.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. Experience with ArcGIS & ESRI and being comfortable with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting multiple projects in a team setting are also essential attributes for being successful in this role. You will be getting exposure to the inner workings of the renewables industry and the project development process.
