Our prime directive is to bring environmentally friendly solar power to as many people on planet Earth as possible. We have been in business since 1988, when we started out doing aerospace consulting work! (That’s where the “ETM” in our name comes from - it stands for “Extraterrestrial Materials”.) In 1993, we decided to start focusing on solar panels. Since then, we’ve installed over 2 megawatts of solar panels in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. That’s enough to power 2000 homes! In 2018, we built a shared-solar project for customers who don't have a good place to put a solar array on their own property. More recently, we have branched out to do even more in terms of sustainability, including offering offering ductless heating and cooling, electric vehicle charging stations, battery storage solutions, and permeable pavement. ETM is a woman-owned business, our website runs on a solar powered server, and we have a solar electric system on our building. Our first customer's solar energy system is still operational and they can still call us at the same phone number!
